For this survey exhibition, Hasselt-based artist and curator Herman Maes dove into the Province of Limburg’s art collection, a treasure of more than 3,000 works.
Instead of a thematic or chronological approach, he chose to let the works confront one another.
The result: 34 visual conversations that challenge, echo, and surprise.
